Precise Thickness and Rigidity:
It is thick enough (usually 1.5mm to 2mm) to hold its shape when pieces are assembled and picked up, yet thin enough for clean die-cutting. It resists warping.
Smooth, Printable Surface:
The top layer is a specially coated paper that allows for high-resolution printing, vibrant color reproduction, and a matte or glossy finish without glare.
Excellent Die-Cutting Properties:
The core material is formulated to be cut cleanly by precision steel puzzle dies. This results in: Sharp, well-defined piece shapes.
Durability:
Good puzzle board is resistant to bending and can withstand repeated assembly and disassembly. It should not delaminate (separate into layers) easily.
